Our Story

Bianco Costel was inspired by the architecture styles of colonial, contemporary and minimalism. It was derived from its location in Bogor where colonial architecture is still commonly found. Bianco Costel’s all white exterior matches with the surrounding historical monuments around Bogor’s Botanical Garden. The white also penetrates the clean, bright, and calm image of the building. This later on becomes the inspiration behind the structure’s name “Bianco”, or white in Italian.

The building consists of several areas, which based on its use and function, forms the “Costel” or community hotel concept. The “community” concept is formed by the multifunctional rooms located in the right wing. Spaces are divided into both public and semi-private areas such as meeting rooms, restaurants, and a coworking space.

The differentiation of room function and zoning in portrayed by the different roof design for the right and left wings. The right wing depicts a sharper roof design for a more active and interactive state. Whereas the building’s left wing is composed of private areas (rooms) and is connected to the main structure in the back. The room units are divided into five types which are the Standard, Deluxe, Panoramic Deluxe, Suite, and Panoramic Suite room. All which are designed to take in maximum sunlight to prevent a dark and humid room. The left wing’s roof design is rather more widen or broaden to give out a warmer, friendlier, and a more open impression for hospitality.

Both passive and active design is calculated during the design process of rooms and corridors to maximize what nature has to offer. Whether it is lighting and sun orientation or air flow.

We have matched the interior design of the room units with a rather neutral and calm colors which according to the phycology of colors can increase the quality of sleep and gives out a relaxing atmosphere to users. While brighter colors with striking accents can be seen in the public areas to give an active impression.

The location and façade of Bianco Costel becomes the main inspiration for the logo itself, which represents the grandness of this iconic building design and the comfort of its surroundings. Brown is the chosen color for Bianco Costel’s logo which represents fertility and blessings for the brand. A hope to grow together, be beneficial for the surrounding environment, and comfort for the users and visitors of Bianco Costel.
